How We Install Artificial Turf

We follow this synthetic turf installation process:

  • We begin by clearing and leveling the installation area, removing any existing grass, weeds, or debris.
  • A stable base is crucial. We lay down a base material, typically a blend of crushed rock and sand, and compact it to create a solid foundation.
  • We install sturdy edging materials along the perimeter to hold the turf securely in place and prevent it from shifting.
  • A weed barrier fabric is placed over the base to inhibit weed growth and ensure a clean surface.
  • The artificial turf is carefully unrolled over the prepared area, ensuring it fits snugly and aligns with the edging.
  • If needed, multiple pieces of turf are seamed together using specialized adhesive and seaming tape, creating seamless joints.
  • Excess turf is trimmed along edges and around obstacles, ensuring a neat and tailored appearance.
  • A layer of infill material, typically rubber or sand, is spread evenly across the turf. This adds weight, stability, and cushioning to the surface.
  • The turf is brushed with a power broom to lift the fibers and evenly distribute the infill. It's then compacted to settle the infill and create a natural look.
  • We conduct a thorough inspection to ensure the turf is properly installed, seams are secure, and the surface is even and visually appealing.
  • Any debris and excess materials are removed from the site, leaving you with a pristine artificial turf installation.
